This privately operated reference service is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those requests to the public office that created or holds the record.
Texas County Sheriff Records
For a Texas County Jail booking sheet, release record, custody question, or booking photograph, start with the sheriff’s office and ask for the records custodian or the person who handles a Missouri Sunshine Law request. No separate public booking-records line or fee schedule was located. The office can explain its current routing and provide a cost estimate where a responsive record may have a charge.

Office hours: county offices generally operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Confirm the current records contact before visiting.
For an emergency, call 911. The sheriff’s main line is the non-emergency administrative route, not a promise of an immediate custody confirmation.
Choose the Right Custodian
Texas County records are spread among several custodians. Use the agency that created the event or now holds the relevant custody record.
- For a county booking or release record, use the Texas County Sheriff’s Office.
- For a Houston Police incident report, use the Houston Police Department or its official Sunshine request materials.
- For a Licking or Cabool city incident report, contact the municipal police records custodian and identify the date and report number when known.
- For a case outcome, use Missouri Case.net and select the 25th Judicial Circuit.
- For state supervision or prison status, use the Missouri DOC offender search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP locator or ICE detainee locator.
For current reported custody and notifications, Missouri VINE is the statewide public option. It is not a Texas County roster, and its results depend on agency reporting.
